O’Maras currently have two major hospitality auctions live, offering unreserved auctions of commercial catering equipment ex Dockside group, and from the temporary convention centre that was situated at Glebe Island.

This year, O’Maras was chosen as the premier auction house for commercial catering equipment, seating, and furniture from the Sydney Entertainment Centre as well as a wide range of well-known restaurants and venues. Literally thousands of chairs, hundreds of coffee machines, ovens, refrigerators, and bar furniture have been auctioned by O’Maras over the past 12-months.

Within the hospitality industry, competition is fierce, with reinvestment and regular venue updates crucial, especially for metropolitan locations. The continued consolidation of pubs, clubs, and venues has also driven increased number of refurbishments and venue updates, with O’Maras working closely with many of these groups to gain access to funds through the sale of many of the existing large assets in the business.
